Seeking your ideas for next skills swap event in April

whole room low resThe next Timebank community skills swap event will be on Friday 24th April from 11-1.30. There will be two sessions: 11.15-12.15 and 12.30-1.30 at it will be at the Flirt cafe again.

The Timebank is a community resource open to everyone.  It’s sharing the skills that we all have to help each other.  It is also a practical way to support start-ups: it gets you the help you need without having to pay for it and it raises your profile and experience (when you offer help) so that you are more likely to get work and contracts.

We are looking for ideas and people to lead activities.  What would you like to learn?  What help do you want?  What would you like to share that will also help to build up your profile?

So far on the skills swaps we have offered 1-hour sessions on: consumer advice, creative writing, crafts, crotchet, Ebay, Facebook, French conversation, Linux open source operating system, mediation, meditation, mobile phone apps, Spanish conversation, Twitter, mobile websites, website testing, yoga, yoga breathing…Richard on Ebay

We are very happy to repeat some of these or have all  new ones.  We need your help and ideas – this is a community thing!  🙂

This will be our 4th Redbridge skills swap event.  To read about the others: 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
